Remove PDF password using Google Drive

There are many tools to remove password protection from a PDF but I Google Drive to be the easiest. Here's how you do it.

Every document you open in Google Drive has a 'Print (PDF)' option under the File menu. Just use that.  Note that you will be prompted for the password twice - once while initially opening the PDF and then again while printing.

How I book tatkal tickets

Many people complain about difficulty in booking Tatkal tickets on IRCTC. Strangely, I have had almost 80% success rate with booking tatkal tickets online. Here's what I usually do.

1. Use multiple user accounts and login to IRCTC from different browsers simultaneously - IE, Firefox and Chrome.  You can do this from the same machine.
2. Do login 10 minutes before the tatkal start time (currently it's 10am), it gets super busy from 9.58 onwards. And keep clicking the different links to keep the session active. The site has a really short timeout.
3. Be ready till the point where you have to choose the train and class. After 10, you can click on this to see the seats availability and 'Book'. Make sure you do all the homework before hand and don't spend time choosing the train/class while booking.
4. The booking form that comes next is tricky and we have to be smart here. Do use the facility to select from the master list whenever possible. These days IRCTC remembers the details you provided during the last failed attempt, so that helps too for quickly filling this form.  If you don't get the captcha image, click on the refresh icon next to it. 
5. For the payment, I suggest using a debit card or netbanking than a credit card. Credit cards have an extra verified by visa step.
6. At times when you get 'Service unavailable', press F5 to refresh. You can try this multiple times till it works or you are thrown back to the login page. Yes, don't give up on this service unavailable so easily.
